Reducing friction Protecting vision
Where casting finds its focus
IRIS emblem

ONE shared space FOR THE entire casting journey. FROM FIRST READ-THROUGH TO FINAL DECISION, EVERY VOICE STAYS in the room. THE NOISE FALLS AWAY. THE WORK STAYS human.

Where the entire casting team thinks, reviews, and decides

What is iris

One room. Every voice. From first read-through to final decision.

INTELLIGENCE structures THE PROCESS. INSTINCT makes THE CHOICE.

Briefs, submissions, reviews, conversations. Everything lives in one place, visible to everyone who needs it. The threads don't get lost. The decisions don't happen in someone's inbox. The work stays where the team can see it.

Every role. One story

For who

ONE PROJECT. seen from every seat.

Casting works when everyone sees the same picture and reads it through their own lens. IRIS keeps the whole team inside one process, with each role seeing what they need, when they need it.

Director

Shapes the emotional truth of the story.

See every performance clearly. Stay with your team through every decision without losing ground to admin.

Casting Director

Translates vision into people.

Build briefs, manage submissions, track decisions. Everything traces back to the original vision. Nothing disappears into email.

Talent

Brings presence into the frame.

Know what's expected. Submit with clarity. Stay informed at every step. Your time deserves that respect.

Producer

Holds timing and structure together.

See where things stand. Keep the project moving without chasing updates across five different channels.

Clarity is designed. Not accidental.

IRIS emblem

Casting has often been described as instinct. The right person at the right moment. We don't disagree. But instinct works best inside a structure it can trust.

CASTING IS NOT LUCK.
IT IS alignment.

Every casting decision carries a different weight. When the people behind it work in isolation, decisions drift. When they share the same view of the same project, every choice gets sharper.

IRIS sits at the center of that alignment. We don't replace taste or instinct. We give them room to breathe. We take care of the structure so the creative work can stay creative.

WHEN THE structure HOLDS, the work can breathe.

The work begins.

Fourteen years of reality. One clear standard

IRIS was not designed in a tech lab. It was built inside the casting office.

For founding partners Ronja Kissa and Mika Pajunen, the work began fourteen years ago. Thousands of script breakdowns, self-tape sessions, and production deadlines across international borders. They know the fragmentation firsthand. They know what gets lost when creative focus competes with administrative chaos.

IRIS grew out of that experience. Ronja's years in casting direction and Mika's in film production gave them both sides of the same problem: the gap between what a project needs and what the process allows.

What they built is their experience turned into architecture. The technical path is standardised. What remains is what matters: the human performance that lands truthfully on screen.
