These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website iris.casting and any subdomains operated by Found Initiative OÜ (the "Website"). By accessing the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Permitted use. You may use the Website for lawful purposes connected to your interest in IRIS as a casting platform — including reading information about the product, subscribing to our newsletter, or joining our waitlist. You agree not to use the Website in any way that breaches applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with its proper operation.
3. Information you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit through forms on this Website. You agree not to impersonate any other person or submit information you do not have the right to share.
4. Intellectual property. All content on this Website — including text, imagery, logos, design elements, and software — is owned by Found Initiative OÜ or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and database rights. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
5. The IRIS platform. This Website provides information about the IRIS platform, which is currently in development. Use of the IRIS platform itself, when launched, will be governed by separate platform terms and a separate platform privacy policy. Nothing on this Website constitutes a binding offer to provide the IRIS platform or any associated service.
6. No warranties. The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website's availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Found Initiative OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses (including loss of profit, business, data, or opportunity) arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Website. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted here, with the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Website where reasonably possible.
9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Found Initiative OÜ collects and uses personal data through the website iris.casting. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Estonian data protection law.
1. Who we are. Found Initiative OÜ, registry code 17369933, registered office at Tööstuse tn 58-17, 10416 Tallinn, Estonia, is the controller of the personal data collected through this Website. For data protection enquiries, contact hello@iriscastingdirector.com.
2. Scope of this Policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected through this marketing website (iris.casting). It does not cover the IRIS platform, which is currently in development. When the IRIS platform launches, a separate platform privacy policy will apply, including specific provisions for the processing of biometric data, performance data, and the use of artificial intelligence — all of which will require explicit, informed consent from each individual concerned.
3. What data we collect and why. When you submit a form on this Website (newsletter or waitlist), we collect the information you choose to provide, typically your name, your professional role (e.g. casting director, agent, actor, producer, director), and your email address.
We process this data for the following purposes:
- Sending you the IRIS newsletter and product updates you have asked to receive — based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Contacting you about early access to the IRIS platform if you have joined the waitlist — based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Responding to questions you send us by email — based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Complying with legal obligations and defending legal claims — based on compliance with law (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or ethnic data) through this Website.
4. AI training. We do not use the personal data you submit on this Website to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Any AI-related data processing on the IRIS platform itself will be governed by the separate platform privacy policy, will be based on explicit consent, and will be limited to clearly defined purposes.
5. Cookies and tracking. We do not currently use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or any similar technologies on this Website. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request your consent for any non-essential cookies before they are set.
6. Who we share your data with. We share your personal data only with carefully selected service providers who help us operate this Website and our waitlist, acting as data processors on our behalf. These currently include:
- Zone Media OÜ (Zone.ee) — website hosting, located in Estonia (EU).
- FormSubmit (Devro LABS) — waitlist and contact form processing; infrastructure routed via Cloudflare, with servers outside the EEA.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may disclose your data where required by law or to defend legal claims.
7. International transfers. Some of our service providers operate infrastructure outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request more information about the specific safeguards in place by writing to hello@iriscastingdirector.com.
8. How long we keep your data.
- Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe, after which contact data is deleted within 30 days.
- Waitlist entry — until the IRIS platform launches and we contact you about onboarding, plus a maximum of 12 months thereafter, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Email enquiries — up to 24 months after the last related correspondence.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
9. Your rights. Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — to ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
- Data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or to have it transferred to another controller.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@iriscastingdirector.com. We will respond within one month, and may ask for proof of identity to make sure we are responding to the right person.
10. Right to lodge a complaint. If you believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for Found Initiative OÜ is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee). You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the EU member state where you live or work.
11. Security. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, but we work to maintain a level of security appropriate to the data we hold.
12. Changes to this Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted here, with the "Last updated" date revised. Where changes materially affect how we use your personal data, we will notify you by email if we have your contact details, or through a prominent notice on the Website.
13. Contact. For any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal data, write to hello@iriscastingdirector.com.
